Where is the highest point in Kansas?
The absolute highest point in Kansas is called Mt. Sunflower, although it's really more of a hill. Mt. Sunflower sits at 4,039 ft. above sea level. While our hills out here in Lawrence are pretty tall (Mt. Oread is 1020 ft. above sea level), Mt. Sunflower beats them simply because of its high elevation out near Goodland, along the Colorado border. Kansas slopes upward as you travel west.
