Where can I store firearms if I live on campus?

The KU Public Safety Office will make secure storage available for the safe keeping of rifles and shotguns belonging to currently enrolled KU students, faculty or staff who reside in on-campus housing. Firearms may be stored and retrieved Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Please call the PSO office (785-864-5900) PRIOR to arriving on campus to set up a meeting for proper storage. Further information can be found here.

KUPSO does not have storage for any other kind of firearm. Those living in on-campus housing will need to get their own lock box for storage. For more information regarding concealed carry on campus, refer to https://concealedcarry.ku.edu/information
