How can I get into a room on campus if I'm locked out?

First, try to contact the department that is in charge of the room in question. If you are unable to reach that department, the KU Office of Public Safety can sometimes assist in unlocking doors and granting access to anyone with an important reason for getting into a room, including retrieving lost keys.
