What is a special permission number?

Special permission numbers are numbers given to you when you wish to enroll in a class that requires special prerequisites or is an honors section.  The best way to obtain a special permission number is to contact the professor of the class or the department in which the class is housed.

Once you have a permission number, you can use it this way:  Go to Enroll and Pay just as you would if enrolling in a normal class.  Enter the 5-digit class number, click on enter, then enter the permission number in the box in the upper right-hand corner, then click next.
